Warning- This post contains a teenager whining about stuff.

I have now been here (in the University) for a full two months. Things are really pretty good. The more time I spend here, the shorter my "list-of-stuff-I-hate-about-here" gets. Unfortunately, as that list gets smaller, the things on it begin to annoy me more and more.

School, of course, is still going pretty well. Never really had a problem here. My math mark is lower than I would like, but my chemistry mark is better than I had any right to hope, considering the name "killer chem" (And quite a few people are resentful that I managed to do fairly well on my midterm- quite a few people, it seems, failed.)

My lack of friends is no more- I now have a group of people that I can actually hang out with. The whole "first years suck" thing still stands- very few of my friends are first years, and although girl-Sam may just be my favourite, she's still a year older than first-year norm. Anne's a fifth year! (and I am apparently "A mini Anne plus games!") I love the people I've found.

Residence, unfortunately, is more annoying than ever. I don't mind living on my own, but living with these girls, bluh. I barely see them now, at least. Spending most of my time in class/asleep/at flash/with Sam/in the library/in my room with the door shut and headphones on is how I deal with them. Roommates don't seem to quite understand the the concept of "I have an 8:30 class" or "Would you kindly shut the goddamn hell up".
On Halloween, two of them ended up having a big party- 20 people squished into our small dorm. This is perfect alright, except they didn't really tell the rest of us. I went to a different party- a good call, considering when I left there were already people there, drunk, dressed as "Indians" and acting really quite racist.
When I came back, the dorm looked like it had exploded into alcohol and skittles, and one roommate was absolutely pissed- she had been kept up until five, and when she had asked the other to perhaps keep it down or go somewhere else, she was called a whore and insulted. When the others were confronted about it the next day, they responded with a "But we didn't do anything wroooooong!"
And really? That's not okay. We all have to deal with each other until the end of the year, and being mean to other girls in the dorm won't make that any easier. I really, really want to live elsewhere next year.

TL;DR, Most teenagers annoy me a whole bunch. There's more to life than drinking and sleeping with random people.

Shhhhhhhh! Don't spoil it for... errr.... I mean.... well said.

Yes. 'cause that's totally a teenager thing, and not something anyone else engages in. Nope, not ever. Really. I swear.

Well I know other people do engage in such things, but to most people that's not the most important thing in their lives. Most people have jobs, and classes, and hobbies.

Yes. Hence my lack of hanging out with said people (save the odd distraction here and there - cause once in a while you just need to cut loose for a few)
